Karen has four years’ experience in working with children and young people. Prior to joining The House Project, she worked within Early Intervention as a Strengthening Families’ Worker.
Karen really wants to make a difference to the young people she is involved with, ensuring they have access to opportunities to enable them to be successful in any way they wish. She enjoys encouraging and supporting young people, raising their confidence and self-esteem, watching them grow independently.

This achievement is about so much more than just numbers, it demonstrates a growing community of young people leaving care, living connected and fulfilling lives through developing friendships and community, and really showcases the significant difference meaningful relationships can make.
