Commercial partner Reconomy has reaffirmed its commitment to the pioneering Wolverhampton House Project

Reconomy has reaffirmed its commitment to a pioneering programme that is providing support and accommodation for young care leavers. The Wolverhampton House Project is a partnership between The City of Wolverhampton Council, The National House Project and Reconomy, the UK’s leading provider of outsourced waste management and resource-led services.

The City of Wolverhampton’s Council new Oasis Co-Production Hub, for children and young people who are in or leaving care, was officially opened yesterday (Wednesday 24 August, 2022). The Oasis, on Willenhall Road, is the main base for the city’s House Project, a partnership between the council, Wolverhampton Homes, the National House Project and commercial partner Reconomy which supports young care leavers make the transition to independent living.Read more
Jason Jarvis from Wolverhampton House Project has recently won an aspirational award, awarded by the National House Project. Aspirational Awards are sums of money given to young people to help them achieve their aspirations. They are to help young people do something that will have a long-term impact on their life. Jason has been able to use the money to buy a 3D Printer which will support his business venture.Read more
