'Alan's Story' film wins EVCOM Award

'Alan's Story' film wins EVCOM Award

Posted 18th December 2025

We’re delighted to celebrate the fantastic news that Alan’s Story, created by Reels in Motion in partnership with NHP, has won Gold at the EVCOM Live & Film Awards 2025 – alongside a Highly Commended for Best Editing.

This achievement is especially meaningful because the film was co-created with Alan Torres, a young person from the House Project community whose honesty, courage and creativity shaped every part of the story. His leadership and vision sit at the heart of the film’s impact.

We’re incredibly proud of Alan, of the Reels in Motion team, and of everyone across NHP who contributed to a film that shows the strength, resilience and talent within our community.
